Any particular parts, it's a big place. On road or off?

any route going through the dales is usually nice, and has good cake stops.
I like the route north from Pately bridge, up Nidderdale, then over the hills back round on the
western edge of the Vale of York
Nidderdale is a lovely little dale, and much quieter then the better known ones at busy times as it
lies juts outside the NP boundaries

Where abouts in Yorkshire ? Driffield ? Rotherham? Halifax,?Northallerton ? I ride from Morley,
usually due west towards Manchester. I ride over the Pennines often past Scammonden Resevoir
paralleling the M62, drop down into Lancashire then come back over the hills. There are many very
quiet roads out there and very few cyclists so I presume no one bothers much with those places. My
all time favourite is through Leeds to Otley, on to Addingham via Ilkley, through Silsden down to
Keighley. Up to Haworth over Oxenhope Moor to Hebden Bridge then home via Sowerby Bridge and the
edge of Huddersfield. Then theres long flat rides to the east.

East of Hull is more or less like a snooker table - one of my favourites is out to Spurn Point
where you cycle along a narrow spit of land with the Humber on your right and the North Sea on your
left and unlike cars, you don't have to pay to ride on it.

I suspect this guy may be looking for off road routes. UC unless he responds we'll never know. Mike
