Several of the bike shops have links. Google on SF Bay bike clubs.(I have several E Bay/Bay Area clubs bookmarked, but I'm on the road at present, so I can't provide links from here - sorry.)

Berkeley Bicycle Club, Grizzly Peak Cyclists, Fremont Freewheelers, Cherry City Cyclists (San Leandro), Diablo Valley Bike Club (or something like that). I'm sure there are a few others I'm forgetting. Where do you live, exactly? All the clubs have web sites, which you should be able to find with Google.

Most of the local clubs have racing teams, but I'm not much of a racer myself so I'm not sure which are the best. You might want to show up at a race and hobnob with some of the folks there to see if you can find a good fit. Also, the NCNCA web site at http://www.ncnca.org/ has a long list of member clubs with contact info.

drop me a line, we can always use a couple of good riders for the 2005 season and for training during the winter.
