Deda Black Stick Seatposts

I have only seen pictures of The Deda Black Stick Seatpost and wondered if anyone here had any experience with this post they would be willing to share? Looks like it might give a little more setback than what I currently run, USE Alient, and that is what I am looking for. Any comments appreciated.:confused:

Yes, it is more setback than the USE. I've been using it for about a year and really like it. I also have a Magic Stick on my other bike. I can recommend both highly. What bike are you riding?

Steve, thanks for the report on the Deda post. The Black Stick will go on a Serotta Ottrott, 6 degree compact geometry frame that I got in early spring. I put an FSA compact crankset, 50/34, on it with a 12/27 cassette and I like that lot in the hills around here. If your're ever going to pass through southern Oregon and would like to go for a ride drop me an e-mail (amstutz@ashlandhome.net). If you are 5'-11" +/-, I probably have a bike that will fit, just bring your shoes and favorite pedals!
