12 hour mtb races in UK?

Anyone know what the first 12hour mtb race in the uk is? I can't seem to find listed until the
autumn of 2004.

The only 12hour I know about is the one at Thetford in August,there was one IIRC in Plymouth this
year in May,but I have no details on that.There is a 6hr at Trentham in May. Alan.
