Well it has now been claimed by somebody, but I will suggest that they do indeed pass it on.

I got given a copy for Christmas and am two thirds through it but have to say he comes over as a
rather nasty and unpleasant person. Not a book I'd recommend.

I can kind of see what you mean, and some of his humour came off as a bit unfriendly and laboured,
but I thought he was overall well disposed to people, and certainly didn't finish it with this
impression. Some of it was quite funny, too.

forgotten those incidents, and hearing them doesn't jog my memory, so obviously I can't read as well
as I thought :(

Just been released (only to the desk in front of me - not into the 'wild'), as I've now finished the
book. I've added a few comments at Bookcrossing too.
Any takers from this NG? Otherwise I'll leave it on a London-bound train next Tuesday.
