View Full Version : 1st half of the cowtown
well we ran the first 13.1 miles of the new cowtown marathon. so far i like the couse , was 27
degree at rhe start but warmed up nice. it follows the like the reg course we started with about 21
folks . the biggest funny was we turn left when we should have turned right and that put kay and i
in 2nd place instead 2nd to the last but that did not last to long. there will be a running of the
2nd half of the marathon was fun . the 2nd sould be funner hahha BTW- need to bring mo gu / and mo
water plodzilla

Hey plodz. Glad you had a good time. I was thinking of joining the crew but couldn't work it into my
schedule -- I work late so getting up that early is tough. Been running parts of the course as part
of my regular routine though.
My apartment is on the course, somewhere around mile 7, I think (the "5" from last year is painted
on the street nearby; not sure where it falls in the new alignment). If I don't let myself get
talked into running the 5K I'll be out on the lawn cheering.

That's a bit early for me but I might try it. I'm doing 20 that day, so that 13 plus another 7 will
get me there.
