What new forks?

Mangled my forks today and I'm wondering what to do. The bike is a Dawes Discovery 301. Used for
touring and comuting. I've seen reconditioning services but because the bike is aluminium I suspect
that replacement is the best way to go.

Personally i'm not really a believer in suspension ... all that wasted energy damped. Any
recomendations on some cheap replacements much appreciated.

Kona Project Two...and don't even think of repairing forks.
