I'm down to my last pair of Kayano 97s. Road Runner Sports no longer stocks these great shoes, and
Asics has long since discontinued the model. The newer Kayanos, at least the few I tried, aren't as
good as the 97s. Asics seems to have gone to a higher arch that's not very kind to my feet.
Have any loyal Kayano 97s runners successfully replaced this shoe with another brand/model? RRS
recommended the new Kayano X (of course) and the New Balance 1221. Also considering the Mizunos
(though I'm not sure which model).
