Got on the bike today for the first time in what feels like an age thanks to this head cold that has
descended to the chest :-( I *needed* to go out on the bike as I am going mad (so what's new I hear
you say) in these four walls. So Vernon & I cycled into town - slowly. Boy did that get me wheezing
and breathing deeply. Still I feel a bit better for it afterwards as it got me breathing hard which
has helped shift some of the gunge on my chest.

Sounds very familiar. It took three weeks for my chesty "thing" to finally disappear. It too started
with a normal cold.

Be careful if it's very cold. Too much deep breathing and an increased heart rate if you're still
not fully recovered could lead to more serious ailments.

It's great to get the legs going again isn't it? I went on a club run when I felt better, taking it
easy, enjoying the views and company, realising what I had been missing.

Saturday was a delight. The sun was out though a little cold at first.
