I was hoping that someone in this forum would have some insight for me. A bit of background I'm 24 and have high ldl levels (to let you know this is not from eating too much or lack of exercise I'm 130 and 5'6" this runs in my family) I have been on a variety of statins since I was 19 and have just been switched to crestor from lipitor since I'm still not close to an acceptable level. My question is has anyone here every been or know anyone who has high cholesterol and gotten pregnant and how it effected them when it came to not being able to take the meds. I've tried to research the topic but besides for getting the response to stop taking meds if pregnancy is suspected I have yet to find any information on others in this situation. I would be grateful for any information anyone can offer. Thank you.
