.... it CERTAINLY felt like it.

There was no ice or frost around (and I have commuted in these conditions before) but jeez it felt
cold, actually, the more i think about it, the more i think i shouldve added a couple of lairs.

I was a little toastie when I got to work but i still felt cold...

... must be the blubber ive lost!!

Thanks, I haven't left yet. ;) Still, it's gone up to 4c in the last hour.... maybe I won't need to
put any extra "den"s on.

Blubber can be your friend.

However, as you state that you are rather more rake-like these days, I'd suggest a balaclava and a
warm pair of gloves.

Failing that, loadsa fat-inducing grub would seem to be indicated.

I found it pretty hard to drag myself out of my lair this morning.

The start of my commute is a railway cutting and a tunnel. It's damn cold down there in the morning
- humid, still air and no direct sun until nearly noon.

I rode without gloves today in Manchester because it was really sunny. I am not sure how, but I seem to have caught a cold. Bah. Not going to stop me riding into uni tomorrow.
