Richard Bates
I was chatting with the family of one of my patients today and having established that I quite often
cycle past the patient's school we got talking about cycling.
When I looked out of the window and said that it was a lovely afternoon for cycling and that I was
probably going to ride to Shenstone after work (I finished at 3pm) and drop into a pub for tea, the
reply was, "Oh how lovely".
And the family weren't cyclists.
