Sealed road round the outside (mins the potholes), lots of hills and moutains in the middle. Cycling for everyone.

There was an article about it sometime ago in Australian
Cyclist - sorry not sure when, Bike NSW or Vic Bike
might help.

Yeah I think so.

But you wouldn't have the weight of all that cold-weather
gear. I wonder what the roads are like ?
