Racing/Training Around Newcastle NSW

Hi all,

I will be taking an extended holiday in December down in Newcastle and
will be bringing the bike with me. I am a racing guy from Ireland and I
wonder what is the racing scene like at that time of year around
Newcastle and who should I contact for info on training spins etc.?

I will have a car so I can travel around a bit if there are events on
elsewhere in NSW.

Any info would be appreciated.
