Default Bike stolen in Bathurst

I had my beloved bike stolen from Harris Park, Mt Panorama in Bathurst NSW on Sunday 12th (just
after races finished). It was a 94(?) model Cannondale F900 hardtail MTB, black, newish fatboy
headshok, lots of gaffer tape and stickers covering the frame. I know I have no chance of getting it
back, I just hope the new owner realises it is a quality bike and looks after it. Somehow I can't
see that happening either.

I guess now that you've told everyone where it was stolen from, it's pointless telling your insurance company it was nicked out of your bedroom while you were at the movies. Not that I'd condone that sort of thing anyway.

I have to admit I didn't have the bike insured. Expensive lesson.

It would be covered by your contents insurance...IF it was IN your house when it was nicked.

I hear what you are saying. Contents insurance is one of those things I never got around to
organizing. I've got bars on both windows and the door. Nobody gets in, nobody gets out without 2
keys. The joys of a ground floor apartment in a bad part of town.

... all I have is rental whitegoods, the rest is worth less than $2k total (new). I do miss my bike,
had to walk everywhere today.

Sorry to hear that Lambert. I live up in Orange so I'll keep an eye out and crash tackle any rider on a bike even closely resembling yours
It could be anywhere now as I'm sure you are aware. People come from all over the country to watch the big race. Keep yer chin up mate
