Hmm, Thought I might start a post so we can proudly display our rigs. Can't seem to attach a photo though.... Any ideas?? Yes the pic is under 100k and it is in jpeg format?? |

Yeah, I'd like to post a pic, too. I cannot figure it out how to upload a pic. There is a button in the message compose screen with "IMG" on it. When hit, it asks for a "http://" text. That's as far as I can go. Would be good if someone showed me how to. ![]() Quote:

There is a browse button that you press to attach an image, but it just won't show it when you preview or post it!!!! |

OK, I worked it out. The pic has to be smaller than 600 x 600. What you have to do is edit the pic down to size. Then attach. So what do you think of my rig?? Trek 5900 Custom Formula 1 paint job All D/A Does not weigh much at all!! |

Nice bike braso. How much was the paint job? The seatpost is interesting, i've never seen one like that before with the bend in it. Looks as though there is no setback at the top though to compensate. |

Ahh, I can't keep this up any longer!! Alas that is not my bike. I saw the photo on ebay yesterday under some dodgy auction for $2400, clearly a fraudulent one. If I had a lazy 10k lying around, I would certainly get one though. For what it's worth, here is my actual rig. Trek 5200 with D/A and Ultegra. cheers shane |

Yes the pic is under 100k and it is in jpeg format?? Its really bad form to post binaries to a non binaries newsgroup and some ISP's won't allow it. This is a good idea though, why not start a yahoo group this would allow a photo gallery Cheers Joel -- | Joel Mayes | /~\ ASCII Ribbon campaign Accordionist | \_/ stop HTML mail and news Musician | / \ | Music Teacher | |

Whoa! That's hot! I love it. Did you get TREK stickers, or you avoided paining over the main stickers on the down tube? I'm gonna try sending a pic of one of my bikes. Let's see. I have reduced the size to 50% (Just below 600X600). Quote:

Would be good if someone showed me how to. ![]() As far as I know, this newsgroup (like many) are non-binary - that means it's a no-no to attach ANY files to a posting. As well as that, a lot of news servers (such as mine) will strip off any attached files that are included in a post. Which means that I don't get to see any attachments at all - not even virii. ![]() --- Cheers PeterC [Rushing headlong: out of control - and there ain't no stopping] [and there's nothing you can do about it at all] |

Attaching anything to a post is a big no no. It's likely to get you reported to your ISP. It can lead to your account being canned. Do not do it. -- Regards. Richard. |

FYI this is the first I have heard of it being a non binary newsgroup. If you are not to attach images, then why are there facilities to do so on the forum boards??? No need to be so, for the sake of a better word 'bitchy' about the whole thing. I think you need to take a few deep breaths, chill out and maybe you will avoid having a stroke dude. Anyway my $0.02 |
