auckland MTBing

anyone here from auckland who rides in riverhead and or woodhill or other mtb parks in auckland ??

im from auckland obviously, live on the north shore and mostly go to woodhill for mountin biking

Yeah, I'm in Auckland and ride at Woodhill sometimes (also road). Its seems pretty good at the moment - nice and hard.

I've been to Whitford a coupla times too, back when it was drier. I would assume it is a bit boggy now.

how often do you guys go riding out there?

I dunno - maybe 2-4 times a month. I haven't had the bike long.

i try to get out to do some mountain biking (prettymuch always at woodhill) every week, usually ends up every 2nd week though

ive only been to whitford once for a night race, that was before bikeparks took over, i should get out there and see what its like now

i havn't gone out to woodhill yet, only had the bike a couple of months,
ride round a big park just down the road (totara park in manurewa)
and round on the road a bit
