I wouldn't pay $20 for a haircut (unless I got a head massage as well). Now I cut my own (hair & beard) with clippers I got for my birthday some years ago.

parramatta sydney... haircut go down to $8... but you can't really communicate with them

i'd rather pay $15 for peace of mind... sterilised equipment and you don't have hair all over you

living with a hairdresser changes your mind abit, when you see all the training the good ones go through and how it really comes down to almost a artform i can see the cost.

that being ive paid over 200aus for a cut and color (yes im a guy) because i figure you gotta do it once. the freshly brewed cappas were nice.

im going for a rock god look at the moment so i havnt had a cut in ages, well not paid for one. mums rock.

I still have no idea how people can fork out upwards of $200 for a haircut. No matter how much colour or gel they put in it.

I live on the North Shore of Sydney, but you can still find a $15 cut in the big shopping centres. Sure, there is a market for those who want to pay big bucks for the haircut, but not everyone wants to.

The problem with those sorts of stores is that for the past 5 years or so (i'm still 18), they try to stick as much of that goo in your hair because it supposedly looks good. You could damn well use that 'doo as a weapon.

I heard on the radio, some people who choose to get their hair cut by that Joe Bailey guy pay around $1.5K wasnt it? Did anyone else hear about that?

Here in Hobart I'll pay $17.50 at 'just cuts', big franchise jobbie but convenient, but I pay $6 to get my hair washed too. I just like someone massaging my head for a few minutes...

So that's $23.50 I suppose.

My girlfriend pays $120!!!!!!
