Default {MELB} - New BUG formed - BrimBUG

Hi guys...

Just doing the plug for our new bicycle users group in the Western suburbs of Melbourne, Brimbank.

The BUGs are spreading!

http://au.groups.yahoo.com/group/brimbug/

We're holding a good ride this Saturday (20th of May) from Brimbank Park (Lizard Cafe), down along the Maribyrnong River Trail into Essendon and a drink at the Angler's Tavern before riding back. Total distance - around 32kms. More of a family type ride for anyone to enjoy. Bring a friend! Plenty of car park space at the park itself.

Thanks

Hi Fernando,
as your ride coincides with the Melb Ride of Silence I am unable to go on your ride, but may I be forward, in suggesting a show of support by the wearing of black arm bands in memorium for those fellow cyclists that have lost their lives whilst doing what we love
Cheers Mark

That's an excellent idea and I did not know there was that ride this Sat as well - bummer! I'll have to pass this onto the members and yes, we too will be wearing arm bands. Do you know of a time precisely when your group will stop for a minutes silence - or anything like that? We'll try and do the same, at the same time if possible. Thank you
