I only recently found out that fancy rims are available separately. I want something that is at least 40mm deep (preferably closer to 50mm, but I reckon that'll start costing me), alu or carbon or both, and have a 'proper' number of spokes: minimum 24, but preferably 28; even 32 I basically want normal wheels that are just a bit deeper than what I have (30mm and 24mm) and not totally bricks, with normal spokes and nipples any other suggestions? There was a guy there yesterday on a C50 with Cosmic Carbone SLs, and when he was looking I grabbed the wheels to see how easily I could flex them side to side. I thought they were kinda easy to flex; definitely easier than my 32-spoke 30mm DTRR1.2s |

You could get a cheaper deep **** rim built up with some good hubs and a ****eload of spokes for a much better prize than Zipps. |

Looks like I was completely wrong about the Shimano and carbon thing. ![]()

Aero wheels make a difference, maybe not justifiable in the retail price of some wheels but the difference is there. |
