Life is an interesting place.
I popped out to catch up with an english girl I met in Tassie for a drink.
She and they had water. I had honey wheat beer. Oh dear.
It didn't take too long.
I did diatribe a bit.

I went for a walk after and found myself ruminating on my manner.

Once upon a time I was Faithful too.
About fifteen years ago I started to become a doubter.
As time went on I became a Doubter.

Tonight as the discussion developed I found myself coming across as a deadset died in the wool heretic.
I enjoyed explaining myself before they politely excused themselves.
I could possibly work on my method.

I had intended to ride there but it was pissing down, so I caught a cab. I asked the cabbie about babyJesus. He said he was a believer. I asked him why. He wasn't very convincing but he was very polite. I felt a bit awkward because I'd mentioned babyJesus. Apparently that was like months ago.

I'll admit I've paid a high price to relieve myself of my superstitions, beginning about 15 years ago. I went from Believing to being doubtful to eventually becoming assured.
And long after that I'm becoming chatty about it all. This is the good phase I reckon.

Religion is tribalism gone wrong. Surely we are capable of better.

It didn't get much better when I popped into a mate's restaurant and found myself at Handel's Messiah's afterparty.
Wait. It did get better. An amazing mist shrouded moon rose behind the steeple aways away and I found myself saying goodbye and sharing the moment with Father John with goodwill in my heart.

I caught a cab home with a Muslim with a sense of humour thank heavens. I felt reassured.

So.
What do you believe in?

Today, a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration — that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There's no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we're the imagination of ourselves. Here's Tom with the weather.

Rooting you in the brown only makes me a deviant, not a homo.

Besides all that, where the hell are you?

Much the same as the 80's, only faster.

Same hate. Same greed. Same areas of fighting. Same terrible fashion. Same stupidity.

Not that i'm telling you how to do your job or nothin'

Beebs - thinking of a czech night before the end of the month - up for it?

I've just hit the 100 keg mark again for the first time in donkeys. Still a fatty though.

They were nice bikes... until the lugs finally came un-glued, then the name suddened became a good acronym for Testicular Violent Trauma. They were a lot more popular than the similarly looking frames from LOOK but I never did see a LOOK frame dump a rider on the floor in quite the same spectacular manner...

Speaking of trauma, I see Robbie McEwan got busted up today, pain to his head, neck, chest and legs, with possible concussion, broken ribs and a punctured lung. Boonen got messed up a little too.
