Surry Hills is just DINKs and sour lipped and minded too old DIOKs with one overindulged rugrat, gays, or badly dressed emos with fixies. <bbp dons his tinfoil hat> You know what? I bet that freak at my front door was a copper. My phone has not been ringing nearly enough with work lately so I've done a bit of subbying for another plumber mate. Him and his father own a bar and were unlucky enough that one of the security guys the security company provided to them was the bikie that got arrested for selling 1/2 a kilo of coke to the cops a week or two ago. We're working away earlier this week on some stackwork on a warehouse reno and his dad rings him, the federal cops are at the bar having a chat, going through the security camera footage and they make it clear that they're under surveillance, they know the bar's alarm code, and there's listening devices in the bar apparently to boot. It's been an amazing story to hear. Farkinell. I suppose they're still trying to figure out our phone calls this week. 'Can you grab me a length of 1/2 inch lagged on the way over?' How many feds does it take to figure out what a 100*50 reducer could possibly mean? |

bbp bringing the Heat to the TAN. Sorry everyone. Alright peeps, seeing as I hate Telstra with a passion, I must remove them from my life. I need a landline/fax, high usage mobile and at least 12GB of fast internet a month, upload speeds not a particular issue. What companies are providing decent packages that you've found? |

He definitely had a disconcerting manner of entitlement to him that made me think he must have been a friend of my flatmates or something, who thankfully wasn't home or I might have even let him walk in the door, which he seemed to want to do. Come to think of it he looked like the chambray shirt wearing type. Definitely fuzz. It'll be interesting to see how this anti-bikie **** all works out, whether there's more than a token response after all their investigations, because they've definitely got fingers in all sorts of pies- military, cops, govt, pubs and clubs, security, organised crime, unions, you name it. I'm gonna pay the issue a bit more attention from now on. |

Anyone here switched to VoIP rather than landlines for fax, etc? Any problems? |

Hey I got in trouble again tonight ![]() They got me to do a crappy talk. I said no about a trillion times but they made me. So I said rar rar about stuff and then 'You know this industry is a bit like a spit roast I never asked for - agencies at one end and idiots at the other...' You will never guess who flew off the handle. never. Some seppo sheila. she did the whole 'storms out in front of everyone' trick. Total wank. I tell people to stay away from me but no one bloody listens to me. Since when did spit roast's stop being a good conversation starter? Whatever. I shall meditate in the metaphorical desert for some for to days and nights. Checkyoself. |
