I thought of you blokes yesterday... out at the Newham combine we had some 50+yo bloke on one of those down-tube clunkers with us in A grade. Pops was with us for most of the race until I got all attacky 22kms from home up a hill in Rochford. He was with us longer than some of the younger blokes. Top stuff. Found out at the end he was some ex-olympian who rode with (or at the time of) Phil Anderson.

He wore a yellow LCL jersey too, only an old boy who's tough as nails can get away with that.... but only just.

Ozman, Classo, Thunder... get to work, name this speedy grandpa.

No, I go to a personal training studio on Bay St.

My PT (male) is a model apparently!

Although I did check out the gym at Middle Brighton Baths - is that the same one you're talking about? Seemed a bit small and cramped too me, dunno why it should be uber-trendy, but there ya go.

Ummm... had some wicked varicose veins both legs... that's all we see when racing. Bikes, legs, and bad jerseys.

Clarke or Bishop are the only riders I can find who fit the age group... dunno...

Grenda, Woods, Kevin Nicholls, Michael Turtur. Not Woods... still nothing rings bells. I'll have a look at the NC points aggregate table when its updated.

Yeah, I know that joint; it's also pretty trendy, but I guess almost everything down there is.

By the way, my mum grew up around Brighton, and if she knew I was mixing up Middle Brighton and Brighton, she'd tell me orf!

I tipping Woods would still smash everyone at a club race if he was in shape.
