Must be the time of the month ...... Vogue have just changed the look of their forums too - red font anyone?

Must say, the new layout doesn't bother me all that much - but then I like colours in the blue/green/aqua spectrum.

I'm all good.. had a good win up in Wang today...

But what gets by ballsac in a knot is when we've all grown to know a system and its changed for the worse. I'd call myself Interwebs savvy, but I'm having major brain malfunction trying to follow the flow of this thread now... pastels are colours best left for tampon packaging. Just sayin....

Actually most tampon packaging is quite bold in its colour scheme.

Dunno about worse - different certainly, and probably not to everyone's taste, but presumably if he gets enough feedback on the subject, Steve could be persuaded to change the skin.

yeah, well worth the 'sticker price'....gives you a bit of an insight into the personalities behind the tour....my favourite bit is in the 'prologue'.Rendell is talking about Henri Desgrange, the guy that thought up the Tour. He reckons Desgrange thought the perfect tour would be if only 1 rider survived to the finish. "If the mad marquis with the pornographic imagination had never existed, the word for taking pleasure from the infliction of pain upon others would no doubt be 'desgangism'"....ROFLMAO

In 1927, Desgrange was p!ssed off cos he reckoned to many blokes were just 'sitting on' the year before....so he made 8 of the 16 stages team time trials!!!...ROFL...one of 'em was 326km long!

It took me a little while to get use to the new look forum but now it seems ok. Works well.

BWAHAHAHA....appears Gary Gatt is broadcasting from that famous French city 'melbourne' again....either that or 'Connex' also get to mismanage the French transport system & the bloke in the Collingwood jumper that wandered past behind him, was obviously lost!

I go out for a snake's and when I come back someone's moved all the furniture.
That's a cruel thing to do to a drinking man.
Feckin' brilliant riding weather...the pub bike has been getting a workout...

Nah, bull****. It's definitely Paris. There is a gendarme and a bloke with an accordian in the background. As for the Collingwood bloke, French people are sophisticated and know a stylish piece of kit when they see one.

More from Rendell...'During the 1968 Giro, Eddy Merckx was sharing a room with the Italian rider Vittorio Adorni. Merckx was 1st overall & Adorni was 2nd. The 3rd placed rider, Felice Gimondi was more than 10 minutes behind them. Merckx opened his suitcase, pulled out a map & showed it to Adorni, "Look, Tomorrow, we attack here"....Astonished, Adorni stammered, "Attack??.. attack who?"....ROFLMAO

I was going to make a funny joke about it being the South Bank, but then realised.......um, it was me again, trying to be clever.
