Radar from bom.gov.au I suppose??? I've been caught out a few times. No rain for 250km apparently, until i've been riding for 20 minutes and it buckets down......pretty quick clouds |

McKenzie isn't much better. If the cnut says 'lets just remember' one more time I gonna ring customs the day after the Tour and tell them he is on a flight coming into Tulla and has a kilo of cocaine shoved up his ****. That'll fuggin teach him. Also, WTF was Derek Zoolander doing giving Sparticus his yellow jersey? This was balanced somewhat by having the legendary Raymond Poulidor as one of the dignitaries. |

Can't say I'm very happy with that broadcast. How hard is it to put up a graphic with the top ten at each checkpoint occasionally? It was a bastard to keep on top of. We shouldn't have to, but we at least used to be able to rely on cyclingnews updates, but you can't navigate back a page on that anymore to see more than five posts. Top five listings a couple of minutes later wasn't really enough either. Total cluster**** for Cadel. Shows how weak the team is, even that they were starting so soon as a team already. By the time Garmin started it was obvious that it was worth hammering and dropping people if needs be because it was so technical; brave, awesome plan from them which wasn't far off the mark. I can't believe Lotto waited when that wheel got crossed and VDB went down so early on. And what was with that mechanical that mysteriously cleared up again once Van Sherlinckx was 50m back and they waited again? Still, epic effort from Astana. Lance pulled like a mofo. I hadn't seen a single pull from Contador til the end, but then realised that was because the camera was locked on Lance rolling back until even Popyvich was behind him. Still, he can't have done a fraction of the time at the front of LA. Ominous stuff. I'm glad Fabian kept yellow though, he might even have pulled more than Lance. Epic. . Contador must be wondering who's side Bruyneel & Lance are on, though. Might have only been 40 secs, but I reckon there's abit going on there...Can't wait for a mountain!
