Cant remember his exact words cos I'm not fluent in his language but the gist of it was 'we maybe shouldnt bother discussing cycling its below us (abc) and is an embarrassment in sporting terms'.

How much did you say you gained since your 'avatar days'?

Well... back in the 'avatar days' I was around 142 to 145 (~65Kg) in that pic I was 175lbs (79.5Kg). As bad as that seems I was over 103Kg a couple of years ago which is one of the reasons I got back on the bike.

Thankfully the power is getting back to where it needs to be - 320+watts for a couple of hours in training and 345ish for an hour, so it's getting to the point where I just need to stop drinking and lose weight. I could do with a bit more but then again who couldn't? Gotta work on that pisspoor 1 minute effort too if I want to start racing again... but I don't know if I want to travel down that "time consuming expansive money pit" road once more.
