Interesting day.

Firstly, the Riot Squad do have a sense of humour, although I don't recommend resting your hands on their shoulders while you're talking to them.

Secondly, it's good to finally run into someone you have loved, and perhaps have disrespected in a poor moment; and yet still respect; and apologise to them.

Thirdly, it's good to tell the Riot Squad they're parked illegally and they should move their vehicles as you're ponceing off.

Fourthly, don't ever buy a Fisher and Paykel washing machine. Piece of ****.

Spinal Tap was wrong - mine goes down to 10... Who needs an 11, do they still pay you to ride so slow?

European front-loaders FTW!

My preference is either Asko or Miele.

Geez, if a washing machine can't hack a single guys one a week washing habit, it would stand no chance against a couple with a 2 year old. Our farken thing runs 24/7.

I think he's S.O.L.

I should have added "... the Vuelta prologue start ramp in Amsterdam".

I would have thought it would have been Cocaino Tom falling over the edge of the start ramp after a night out in the drug capital of Europe...
