hahahaha. I had a 'Plum Vainqueur' black rainbow jersey when I was a kiddie. Don't tell Vadar, he'll pay out on me after I spent six months hanging sh1t on him about his Quickstep rainbow jersey.

Whatever. He's quite obviously a fukctard in the first place, based on your description of his journey. There was a lot to appreciate if you were willing to climb the mountain.
Hopefully she enjoyed herself.

Actually, I'd say he's a pretty good bloke driving her all the way up there and back with her being keen to go but under doctors orders not to fly at the moment and him having fuk all interest in it. The things some people will do for love. I'd have pointed my missus in the direction of the train station.

I watched a big chunk of it on freecaster.tv this weekend. The Seppos are going crazy about some chick from Buffy the Vampire Slayer who came third or something. Apparently she was riding a 29er which of course validates anything, including Waterboarding and Crumping. I thought it was nice of the Euros and Aussies to allow them a token placing. In something.

Hahaha...

Crumping - hip hop dancing for black kids with no sense of timing and a desire to look like a complete spaz...

What really is the deal with dugast tubulars? I never heard of them back in the 90s - but apparently they became extremely big with the cross guys a while back. They moving into the mountain bike thing too?

Scotch - anything is drinkable, especially with a mixer like coke.

Bourbon - the cheap stuff leaves an aftertaste like acetone or what you get from huffing 108 octane racing petrol. If you must drink it then get the expensive stuff.

Yeah people are experimenting with MTB tubulars. They make some sense in that they're almost immune to pinchflats, which probably account for more than half the flats you get. The whole setup would also be very light....to be honest I haven't looked into it too deeply.

Dugast have been making track and 'cross tubs for ages. They're not really that well known mostly due to the cost and lack of distribution I guess.

The knobbies are pretty basic looking. (read '80's rejects'). Didn't seem to stop Schurter though.

Trapped girls call for help on Facebook - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

Quote:
The Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS) in Adelaide says it is worrying that two girls lost in a stormwater drain raised the alert on a social networking site rather than ringing triple-0.

The 10- and 12-year-old girls updated a Facebook status to say they were lost in a drain on Honeypot Road at Hackham in Adelaide's southern suburbs on Sunday night.

Glenn Benham from the MFS says it was fortunate a young friend was online at the time and was able to call for help for them.

"It is a worry for us because it causes a delay on us being able to rescue the girls," he said.

"If they were able to access Facebook from their mobile phones, they could have called 000, so the point being they could have called us directly and we could have got there quicker than relying on someone being online and replying to them and eventually having to call us via 000 anyway."
DOH!

10 year olds are already starting huffing glue and making the boys happy down under? Why would they be down in the storm drains?

I can see why tubs would be great for mountain biking and I'm surprised they didn't take off back when the sport first started but given the tire technology available from MotoX, you have to wonder why hand made tires are still considered the thing to have...

Sh1t don't stick when there's nowhere to stick too... aero rims don't collect the mud like V section rims. Carbon is lighter...

Dunno about the braking aspect though. Carbon rims and cork pads in the mud?
