I'd like to move that we move on from the Koffee Brown Affair and get on with life. In case you hadn't noticed we're all running out of nice sunny days to ride - one day at a time! ![]() I'd like to know how Dale and Lawrence went today Climbo. Did they reveal the extent of their newfound superpowers? My eldest had her first go at crit racing today on her shiny new midget roadie. Already she's gone OCP on me with lines like "Dad, can you take the bell and reflectors off please?" Once she got her bike handling confidence up she rode a great race. Same for another young lad riding a roadie for the first time. Was brilliant to watch, and loads of fun for all. Post race interview: "So do you like that style of racing?" "Nope." You've gotta love their honesty. |

no Dale, Lawrence was strong but A grade didn't place, they split and splintered and a few dropped out, B grade took it all. I kinda like this new home too, screw bikeforums and the revenue they just lost from all our posting ! And belated congrats to NZ on the rugby, great game, we blew 2 tries at the end which really sucked eggs - I was livid for a while !!!!!! |

(Made shortbread and also malted milk biscuits last week)If this site is run by Aussies, then I reckon we should support them as much as possible. Charity begins at home, I say. ![]() And that strange bloke with the jandals has just taken his Chilly Billy and gone tramping. |

Mmm bandwidth is still pretty expensive. Then we would have to have mods, a server etc etc, it would add up pretty quick, even if we just kept it to ourselves which kinda defeats the purpose.

do we know if this site is Aussie or not? I did a tracert. The last hop makes it look like its Australian. But if you type their IP into http://www.hostip.info/index.html it seems if they are hosted in the USA.

Maybe hosted in the US, but Steve(admin) is from Ballarat(like me!!)... hell, I've always had ausbike.com hosted in the states cos it's cheap... it's always been an aussie affair though.

1 hour, an OTB, a slow off + a major melt down after trying to follow a fresh B grader up the big climb on the 2nd lap HDT walked away with the award of 1st loser in D grade today, meaning over 4 races completed there this season i managed to collect all 3 coloured ribbons. Mrs HDT is so proud! Only problem is its up to C grade for the club champs. Methinks that after that affair i may set my sights on B grade for next season. better to be getting my ass handed to me in B grade than endin up a major also ran in a 40 + person C grade field IMHO. C and B grade winners pretty much do the same times and it will take me the better part of next year to get to the pointy end of each. oh, also secured 2nd in the Pointscore of the year after racing only 4 of 6 races, happy days |

and while we're on the subject of holdens.... was at my sister's place for a family shindig today and they all decide we should lob down to the park for a game of drunken soccer. Imagine my combined feelings of shock, envy and despair as the garage door opens to reveal not only the family commodore station wagon, but a shiny, new, and hardly driven monaro. Not just any, but one of the last 100 off the production line. It's a shame everyone capable of driving it was too pissed, otherwise there might have been some rubber laid down, races for pink slips, and some possible police intervention. |
