Default Hunter Bike Run (NSW)

Is anyone here planning to do the Hunter Bike Run this Sunday, August 6th?

33km and 66km routes, it is in support of Camp Quality. Entry form in the current issue of Australian Cyclist or online at www.hunterbikerun.com.au

Should give it a go.........been off the ride since Wednesday due to dogs disease, if I slip a couple of short ones in b4 the weekend a Sunday 66er should be just the ticket. Another 30 bucks, to a good cause.

Sadly I have to run the Jr Dev this week and can't make it. Have fun guys.

It's a shame they've cut out some of the faster sections along Hexam straight and Industrial Dr from a coupla years ago. That Cabbage Tree Is Rd is a real cruddy road to have to ride twice! The ride's been shoehorned into the lowest possible risk ride which just happens to offer the least in terms of scenery and enjoyment. Such is insurance.
