I'm looking at buying Dominators or Eagle's. I've checked out Sidi Aus website and dealers but it's not helpful in pricing and availability from dealers. So what's pricing on the Dominator/Eagle and can folks suggest a decent vendor? If I can't source them locally, I'll buy from totalcycling. I live in Darwin and both LBS's don't stock Sidi. |

I don't recommend buying cycling shoes sight-unseen. Fit is critical, so even if you do pick up a bargain if they don't fit it's a waste of time. If you have no choice, then your best bet is to wait until one of the online vendors has them for sale. Probikekit.com has Geniuses for A$219, which is cheaper than AU wholesale.

[QUOTE=Thylacine]I don't recommend buying cycling shoes sight-unseen. Fit is critical, so even if you do pick up a bargain if they don't fit it's a waste of time.QUOTE] wise words indeed. i just bought a set of genius 5.5 hi-techs in a size 46. my previous shoes (not sidi) were a size 44 . luckily i had the opportunity to try them on locally first.fyi, i bought them from totalcycle. (probike = much cheaper postage, but they were out of my size)the shoes took 8 days, including weekends, to arrive on my doorstep from ordering, and i could track them all the way here. plus they replied to an email the same day. v good. give SHM a call for prices. they are really good on the service side of the caper. http://www.shmbikes.com.au/

Hi, Just new but was looking for the same thing in melbourne. Went to about 6 different shops listed on the Sidi Aus website as "Dealers" but they either didn't have any Sidi stock or didn't have any current stock. ie. Dominator or Eagle 5. I contacted Sidi Aus who have advised me to call "Richard Ayling our distributor in Victoria I am sure he can help you 0413611245 we have Eagle 5s in stock here so will not be a problem". Maybe give him a try as it would be cheaper to ship interstate then from OS. Good Luck |

Thanks Rockslayer, Can you email the link to me as I too, like so many others are looking at the Eagle 6. The only thing close is "BikeTiresdirect" who have them for US$219. Have tried Australia but sadly there is a lack of stock and Sidi Australia (Ezitour) can only supply for about AUS$500-600. Big Difference. ====================================================== Quote:

Check out ProBikeKit. Fixed shipping charge. http://www.probikekit.com/display.php?cat=Sidi%20Shoes Similar to others, it's best to try your first pair in person, at least the size for that brand of shoes. Each brand's sizing varies by a small margin. But once you know your size for a brand, then you are pretty much free to pick a different model.
