Default A highly covered topic

Crusing home from work, I got to my neighbourhood, some bloke (with a male passenger) in a 4wd passes me and yells some abuse about being on the road. (It was 7.10ish, dark and I was cruising at about 30k so I did give myself abit of room from the parked cars.) I give it back but they drive off.
They pulled onto a side road into their driveway, I catch up and give it back to them. They yell back something about fighting but I was off.

Now Im not asking if I should have done it. I shouldnt have. But my problem is this bloke probably lives just down the road from me. What do I do if he sees me again? Call it a brain snap and being fed up with bad drivers.

Thanks for reading my rant and I wouldnt be surprised if no one replies.

Get some pro-cycling propaganda and shove it in his mail box. Stuff like from VirtualBike.

Similar story for me - I was "attacked" by a group of people in a car the other night when starting my ride - and rode past them getting out of hte car a few blocks from my own place. I had no less than seven different lights on me (yes, I look like a xmas tree) - think that my visibility may have provoked them.

As least I know where they live, now, and you know where he lives - if he threatens you again, I'd say let the police know you've been threatened with physical violence on multiple occasions, document them, and have a witness if possible. Get his rego number for reference when walking past or something.

If its really a matter of life/death, then just plain ignore the bastard, and take a different route for a few days/weeks.

There's nothing like an anonymous pamplet drop in the area calling him a pedophile/child molester/burglar for sweet revenge! (sarcasm)

If someone abuses you, don't bother giving it back unless you're prepared to cop the possible consequences.

Don't muck around. If they have threatened you in any way, then file a police report, that way they will know that you don't muck around and they will know that if there is any other incident that the police will be notified.
