Vittoria Randonneur/Pro. Designed with this sort of epic riding in mind.

I think this is a 700c tyre only - it's 26" I'm after (Fauxpas - just don't answer that OK?)

for 26" try Panaracer Pasela K Tourgard, Soma 1 1/4"(which is what we use on the tandem) or Avocet Cross

Cheers

Hi all
I've been using Schwalbe Marathon 700x28 on my tourer towing a BoB Ibex around the Gold Coast Hinterland, northern NSW & Brisbane. I run them at 90psi & have found them to be excellent and the speed for a treaded tyre is also very good. We have a special place in our hearts for keeping as much GLASS on the sides of the road as possible and I am yet to get a puncture with them after about 1250 kms. Probably will now!
Cheers and safe cycling!
John
