That cant be serious actualy. Sounds like they don't want' to do it and if they quote high enough you will go away. Don't knock Bus freight. I used to pick up stuff that was sent by bus on a regular basis and it was OK. Regards, Anthony |

do you know anyone who works in freight/transport? Companies likes Shaws / Tri-State Transport would ship it for a good price depot to depot (i.e. a case of beer ot two) but you'd need to know someone in the company who would make sure to look after it for you on the trip. (i.e. top load it, hand load/unload it). |

greyhound bus freight were the cheapest i found i recently sent a bike from melbourne to perth for not much more than $150 get it boxed up at your LBS and greyhound will pick it up from the shop. pickup is from the bus depot in perth or they will deliver to an address for a smallish fee. |
