The ladies bike is rebuilt, Pix attached. One of the Historical guys had a look at it and the Bike it is a Marlyn Mixte from the 1960s, assembled in Melbourne on an English Phillips (Raleigh) Frame. On his advice I have left the paint original. The Wheels were rebuilt on Shimano Hubs: 3 speed coaster rear HiFlange front Stainless Steel Spokes The original rims were sandblasted and powder coated silver. Tyres are new Duro medium pressure 26x1 3/8. Headset and bottom bracket were also serviced, All the old chrome was sandblasted and powder coated silver. New inner and outer shifter cable. New Bell. New Grips Costs to date, $157, so I will try for $200 in the Sunday Times.
