LOOK KEO recall in USA

I see Look -USA have recalled Keo pedals with CrMo spindles in the USA cause of breaks and more than a few nasty accidents. No sign of a recall anywhere else.
Anyone know anything about this?

Uh-oh. I'm screwed. I'm pretty sure the Carbons on my main ride were purchased during the covered period.

Good thing I wasn't one of the 14 out of 40,000 failures (0.035%). This has me seriously worried.

Mine are in the date range...can't say I'm worried either, after about 30,000Km I reckon the chances are pretty good they're Ok. They haven't been recalled in Oz, I'd be guessing different lvels of consumer 'protection', meaning, we're not as likely to run off crying to a lawyer if something breaks ...geez, 0.035% eh?...serious issue (not!)
