Bike Shows in Australia

Hey Guys

Does anyone know if there is a Cycling show held in Australia, a bit like the motor shows we have?
I have seen & heard of them overseas in the USA & Europe but have not heard of any here in Aus.

Any ideas?

Bicycling Australia used to run an annual one that alternated between Melbourne and Sydney but I think that's gone now.

The good news is - I can treat the injuries I am about to inflict.

There was a big two day show in Melbourne a month or two ago.

It was a trade show though - no punters.

There may be a public show soon though, or so I hear.

hi, yes there is a display at the Hilton when the tour Down Under is on. it features vintage Bikes fromt he 30's up to the 50's, last year it featured malvern Star 5stars, Hetchins, Super Elliott etc. worth the view

As previously mentioned there was one that alternated between Melbourne & Sydney.
In Sydney it used to be at Rosehill, then Olympic Park when the Spring Cycle changed its finish location to the same place. Saturday was trade only day & Sunday for the public.
Was quite a good show but died in the ars3 a few years ago, no doubt due to the cost of running it. Can't see it ever coming back...
