Most of the Time the promises are sales pitches, Get a booklet, some form of written warranty/service card specifying exactly what you are being offered, what the conditions are, how they would become null and void when it expires, what parts or labour is charged for. My Scott comes with a service booklet and as long as i have it serviced once a year at an approved dealer, has offered all it promised they have replaced the rear shock and i know of an instance where they replaced a guys frame. However chains, sprockets, chainrings and BB's are a grey area. |
