Thinking of new bike? Trek 5500 what do you think?

Hey Guys and Gals

Thinkin' of a new bike for chrissy. My old one is getting too small for me and I've been to the BIke Shop I ride with and the recommended the TRek 5500. If any of you have ridden this bike before or have some info on i can you tell me?

Are you referring to a new Trek 5.5? They don't make the 5500s anymore, anyless it's an NOS '05.

One a similar note, my bike is being fitted with a '01 5500 frameset and I am pretty excited about it.
