I am looking to buy a cyclocross bike as a general lesiure on/off road hacker. Am i missing something or are the Focus cyclocross machines, like the Mares exceptional value when compared with Kona, e.g Jake the Snake. Condor cycles are offering one of their own frames with a campag mirage groupeset for around £900. I'm not sure which wheels. This seems expensive, doesn't it, or is the mirage level groupset not much worse than shimano 105?
Any other advice would be gratefully received for cyclocross bikes around this price.
