Overseas buying

Hey there, have any of you had any of expierence in buying a bike of a site called alibaba as i am in the process of purchasing one. They tell me now that all bikes are made in China or Asia these prices i'm receiving are approximatley half the price you would expect to pay in Australia. Can anyone help?
