Next to the "Reply" button there's a little button with a pen and paper on it. Clicking that will enable the quick reply box at the bottom of the thread.

If you dont want the message quoted in your reply, untick the quote message tick box.

If you use the normal reply button you can delete the quoted text thats inserted into the text box.
