Default Looking for a recommendation on a nice roadie...

Hi, everyone!

I'm a realtive 'noob' to this forum, but have a few years under my belt as a roadie ~

Nothing too serious, but I've done 2 centuries already over the past 3 years and mostly do 40-50 miles rides... just to give you an idea as to what I ride.

I recently sold a Litespeed Arenberg (had basic Campy goodies), and am thinking about moving up to something a little nicer. Don't need a carbon bike, of course, but something that is a touch better than the 3-4 year old I had...

Was thinking of a ti frame, with carbon stays and fork. Either nice Campy or Shimano Ultegra/Dura-Ace to go with it. A nice name brand, that I can snag for $2500 or less - the ideal would be to get something that a better rider had for a short time (1 season or less), and wants to move on to something else...

Thoughts/suggestions/opinions?

It's greatly appreciated - thanks!!!
Aurelio

For what it's worth, you'd probably get a better response to this question if you posted it in the "Cycling Equipment" forum.
