i am from the ft.worth, texas area. i actually do not cycle(i know, boo-hiss) but i am looking for some jerseys for my parents (avid cyclists) . i am looking in particular for: norwegian flag jersey, polka-dot king of the mountain/tour de france (preferably w/out team logos), & exxon/mobil (i think yellow w/ tiger on the back. i have been searching for weeks on the internet, & frankly there are too many sites! thought i would come to the experts (witness shameless groveling). any help would be GRAETLY appreciated!

You should probably start a new inquiry thread for this, as it is off-topic for this thread. More people will see it that way. Good luck.

Hi Folks. I'm a 50 yr old machinist from Milford Ct. I've just returned to cycling from a long absence. I'm riding a Dawes Galaxy ten speed from about the 1973-75 era. Recently I've been updating the bike. I've switched to a Campagnolo record crank set, 53/39, a Campagnolo record front derailleur, I replaced the defective freewheel with a stock ratio 14/28. I'm now running a retro Suntour GT rear derailleur which works great and I have a Campagnolo record rear unit on the way although I may not chage it. I've added continental ultra gator tires and a set of look clipless pedals. One question I have is where can I obtain replacement parts for the look pedals, specifically the bearings? TM

Hey, Im 22, a draftsman for a structural engineering firm in east Texas. Always enjoyed cycling. Just started getting serious about it recently when I started riding for exercise on my dads 15 year old Trek 1200 and then purchased a Trek 2100 (LBS ordered it 2 weeks ago and still hasent come in) my goal in cycling for this year is to be able to attend and complete a local tour by this time next year (it was last weekend but I didnt attend).

Hi, I'm Adam from Leicester England.

Just bought a road bike (Felt F70) after years of mtb (Santa Cruz Superlight)

Always put road biking down as boring and pointless, but have to say that going hard and quick is nearly as much fun as being in the dirt *

* That sentance could be used on quite a few forums, most of which are not public friendly

I'm Sean, from the Detroit area, but have relocated to St. Augustine, FL. I teach elementary school (3rd), and use my summer off to bike more. I discovered today, however, that I do want to get in before noon on the hot days. Bleah, it was hot.

Hi y'all,

I'm Larry and I'm from Cincinnati, Ohio where I've lived most of my life. I was in the US Army from 1985 to 1991 and have worked as both a police officer and (currently) a 911 Operator/Dispatcher.

At 39, after being pretty much sedentary for the past 10 years, I finally got fed up with myself and decided to start changing my lifestyle. So, when other pre-midlife-crisising 30somethings might go buy motorcycles or chasing younger women (I'm married to one so thank God I don't have to do that! ) - I decided to start taking care of myself (i.e. eating better) and went out and bought a bike (a Trek 7.3 FX Disc - I love it!).

I've been commuting to work and hitting the occasional bike trail (over at Lunken Airport for those who know the area) and am working on increasing my fitness level for longer rides. So far it's been great!

From Sunset Beach, CA....just recenty(2005) got back into the cycling scene after a 20 year absence from it. Rediscovered my passion for all things pedalable with particular affinity for 531 steel frames and new technology components. I upgraded my 1978 TREK TX700 ( I'm the original owner) to Dura Ace 9 a few months ago and am back riding 100+ miles weekly. I also have a TREK 560 Pro (1986 frame acquired on ebay) that I have since made into a flatbar 18 speed...also have(since new) a 1996 Performance M405 hardtail MTB that I ride more often than the TREKS---It's old, it's ugly(painted gunboat gray), it's original (all still stx and thank god for ebay to keep it rolling)...but it's seemingly indestructable and It's now like a member of the family. Even has its own room...I'll stop there......
