Thought this was a good place to introduce myself -- finally a member -- and make my first post. I'm from British Columbia, Canada. I'm a writer, photographer, randonneur, commuter, general cycling addict, and webmaster of VeloWeb.ca. Hope to share the bike love here. Cheers, Randochap |

Chattanooga, TN., from Seattle, 8 years ago. 'Moved here to marry an internet sweetheart. 'Working out well. I'm a self employed business owner (kind of goes hand in hand,) digital artist and photo restoration pro, pro musician and mountain biker, (ex-roadie.) I've been riding, wrenching and building since I was a 12 year old. That's a ton of years ago. Thanks for having me and Happy Independence Day to all the Americans on the forum. |

Los Angeles. I also ride motorcycles. And cars. My best ride so far, in terms of distance, was Pasadena Marathon, 26 miles. In April of this year, it rained the whole ride, but the streets, big city streets were all closed and it went all around the Rose Bowl. So it was fun anyway. Otherwise I am a casual rider, a few miles for lunch, or to the library (3 around here) most distant is 7 miles. dc |

Hi all, I'm in the Santa Clarita Valley, CA. I just got out of the military last week, usually have a camera in my hands or near me , and get paid to go to school. ![]() I use to ITT, but the Army gave me bad knees. So now I just ride for the sport/fun. I don't consider myself a century type of rider, but I've done three centuries in the past three years (one on a mtb on the road). My last two where 4 weeks apart, but really can't do those long rides due to the knees. I do most of my riding locally in the hills. I'm considering to start riding with the folks in the San Fernando Valley Bicycle Club. Last edited by socal cervelo; 07-04.-2009 at 10:41 PM. |

Hi everyone; old guy from southern NJ here. I'm glad to be finally able to post. I tried signing up over a year ago, but the site seemed to be on autopilot. Thank you to the new administrator. I'm a solo kind of rider and like to go out when the urge strikes. I probably do on average around 75 miles a week and ride a Ti Performance road bike. Southern NJ is flat, but scenic. Unlike stereotype of the northern part of the state. Anyway, I'm glad to be here! |
