Hi everybody! I'm from Singapore, am a weapons technician, riding a road bike, for a year now. Weather is hot & humid, so, mostly I ride at night, all year round. Yes, the streets here are well-lit, but I still try my best to make myself obvious. Glad to be able to post after about a year. |

I am from beautiful british columbia (canada for those non geographical wizzes) and OMG I LOVE MY BIKE! well thats a dead give away to the fact that i m pretty new to cycling. well i m riding about 12-15 hrs a week but once track & field season is over i can up that without screwing up my running. am unaffiliated still but fortunately local groups are nice about opening their doors (or pacelines lol) to strays like myself. I CANT WAIT TO RACE! gahh my first race was supposed to be today but its raining... upps i should add that i m unemployed...since everybody is listing their professions. its the most depressing thing to graduate high school and find that you are not even qualified enough to flip burgers or serve coffee. if anybody want to hire me!! |

First post...... I'm from Stonehaven in Scotland, it's just south of Aberdeen. I'm a meteorologist but doing a systems manager job just now......forecasting and research became a bit passe. I'm into Ice Hockey in a big big way, play, coach you name it, cycling was one of my training methods when I was young and fit, did a few races, a few spotives and a fair amount of MTB races. I also ride motorbikes, trials and classic scrambles specifically. Now that I'm older and "rounder" my cycling is restricted to the odd bit of road stuff to keep the pumps going and watching as much as I can. i also haunt the Just Cycling Forum hence the clues to look in here. |

I'm from Georgia, United States of America. I live out in the rural farm lands but close enough to a predominant college city. I use to not appreciate life out here in the country side but I've learned to love it after running and riding throughout it. Currently, as of 7-11-09, I'm going into my Senior year of high school and my last year of grade school xc/track distance running. I'm not sure at the moment whether or not I want to continue running in college, but I'm really starting to think seriously about competitive cycling after getting into the sport seven months ago when I got my first Road bike for Christmas. I hope to have a good time on these forums and be involved in more discussion than I have been on the other forum I'm a member of, bike radar. This community looks really swell though and I believe I'll use this one just as much as BR. -Josh M. Holloway |

Hello, My name is Cullen, and I'm from a town called Appleton; located in, the American state, Wisconsin. In 2000, when I was going to graduate school for Library Science, I was hit by a pickup truck while cycling to class. The accident put me into a coma for two weeks. I'm now disabled, and rely on a walker for my mobility. However, I still have a strong love of cycling. Unfortunately, I now longer have the balance to ride a two-wheeled bike. I'm very lucky to have discovered the recumbent trike. I'm now the proud, happy owner of a Sun EZ3 recumbent trike. |
