I'm from Southern Oregon and ride for fitness and FUN! It feels great to go up the 15 mile climb 10 min faster this year than last despite my 56 year old body!
Working as a Chiropractor for 27 years! Got a lot of physiology training but the new exercise physiology training techniques have outstripped my meager brain. Anyone here good at exercise physiology?
Riding 75 miles a week on a Mercier with Campy Mirage for 2 years and NOW I'm wiiting on a new custom Seven. |

A special thanks to those who contributed to recumbent plans, this I found to be extremely helpfull considering the last time I built a recumbent was 30 years ago. At that time there was next to nothing avilable except the odd photo in the library. My interests include valve audio design, classical music & opera, orchids and of course my ancient recumbent.

I am from Richmond a small town near Nelson at the top of the South Island of New Zealand. Here we have clean air and high sunshine hours.
I design and custom build high end audio systems using valves and 2004 technology. These are very expensive and are purchased mainly by audiophiles that have a dedicated room for listening. I also restore and repair valve radios from the 1920's on, for the public and Antique shops. This means quite alot of sitting down so a ride on a recumbent from time to time is a welcome relief and good exercise since I am close to retirement.
Hope that answers your question

You can do a ride report (photos) and post them at this site. http://forums.roadbikereview.com/forumdisplay.php?f=45 Everyone would love to see them. We have one guy post pics of his rides in China. I am 23 yeras old, 187cm(6' 3") and 83kg (190lbs) and I just set up a Specialized Epic Comp. I am trying to make a training program ( mainly HR based and others? ) and any help is welcome
