Transition: The Online Triathlon Adventure Novel

I'm writing a novel online, and I'm looking for feedback.

This being the 21st century, I've also started a blog about the novel, I'm hoping you'll drop by and share your thoughts. The blog is online at http://Mishkoff.typepad.com/transition/ (as with most blogs, if you want to read the posts chronologically, start at the bottom).

The novel is entitled Transition, I describe it as a "triathlon adventure novel." (A promising new genre?) It's not really about the triathlon, but the two main characters are triathletes, and a lot of triathlon-related activity (including three races) will take place in the pages of the book.
