I hate rain...

Well I took my new bike out on its maiden voyage this morning only to have the sky open up and start downpouring 26 miles in. God, I have the worst luck...

I love riding in the rain, snow, I just love to ride.

rain... its a great way to stay refreshed, keep your skin from drying out and washes away all that nasty salty sweat.
plus it keeps you cool.

but its NOT good in winter... best be staying away from that stuff!

havent taken my roadie out in the rain yet (i.e. i havent been caught in the rain when riding it yet) and im not looking forward to the day when it happens... otherwise, i love riding in the rain!

In Tucson, pedaling in the rain is like a holiday, but I found out a few days ago, in Colorado on vacation, that pedaling at high altitude, in coolish temps, in rain, without a jacket is less than inspiring. Go figure.

We haven't had any rain here (NW FL) in months. I'd be happy to ride in the rain right now.

I don't mind riding in the rain during the summer months,like asterope said it's a good way to keep cool,pretty miserable in the winter though,even when wearing decent waterproofs.We've had an uncharacteristically hot summer in the UK this year and the light showers during the last week have been quite a relief.
It's those God foresaken head winds that I loathe,even a relatively short ride takes ages when your pegged back to 10-12mph.
