rain... its a great way to stay refreshed, keep your skin from drying out and washes away all that nasty salty sweat. plus it keeps you cool. but its NOT good in winter... best be staying away from that stuff! havent taken my roadie out in the rain yet (i.e. i havent been caught in the rain when riding it yet) and im not looking forward to the day when it happens... otherwise, i love riding in the rain! |

I don't mind riding in the rain during the summer months, like asterope said it's a good way to keep cool, pretty miserable in the winter though, even when wearing decent waterproofs. We've had an uncharacteristically hot summer in the UK this year and the light showers during the last week have been quite a relief. It's those God foresaken head winds that I loathe, even a relatively short ride takes ages when your pegged back to 10-12mph.
