Default Nice rides in LA?

Hi- Moving to Burbank at the end of the month-- hoping a few of you could recommend some nice rides (approx 20 miles) around the Burbank/Pasadena area? I have a Giant TRC road bike. Thanks in advance!

Two spots I have ridden in the area: Griffith Park (1 mile south of Burbank) and Hansen Dam (~7 miles NW of Burbank). Griffith Park is great, lots of bikers, closed off roads and hill climbs. Send me an email and I can send you a few maps. I have MS Streets & Trips or I can download it to Excel or .jpg image, your choice.

A lot of the canyon roads look good on paper, but I suggest you also google local bike shops or check out the Rides section on the Bicycling.com forums. Always worked for me.

Dave
